4 lb. lean spareribs
2 (4 1/2 oz.) jars strained peaches
1/3 cup catsup
1/3 cup vinegar
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients for sauce. Rub ribs on both sides with salt and pepper. Place ribs, meaty side up, in foil-lined shallow pan. Bake in hot oven at 450º for 15 minutes. Spoon fat off. Pour sauce over ribs. Reduce heat to moderate (350º). Continue baking for about 1 1/2 hours or until done, basting several times. Cut into serving pieces (cut before baking, if you prefer.)
