½ cup shortening
¾ cup sugar
1 egg
1¼ cup + 2 tbsp flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar+ 1 tsp cinnamon mixed

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375º.
2. Cream together shortening, sugar and egg.
3. Mix together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Stir into creamed mixture.
4. Roll into balls and then coat with the sugar/cinnamon mix.
5. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes.
