1 cup butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 oz. or 1 pkg. yeast
1/4 cup warm milk
3 egg yolks
2 1/4 cups bread flour
grated rind of 1 orange
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat all ingredients thoroughly. Separate into 3 parts. Wrap in foil and put in refrigerator over night.
Next day - roll out each section very thin. Beat 3 egg whites (that you saved) until they hold peaks. continue beating and add 3/4 cup sugar. (Makes a meringue). Then spread 1/3 of meringue on dough which is spread out, (rolled). Sprinkle generously with chopped nuts and lightly with cinnamon. Roll up - place on buttered cookie sheet. Let stand an hour at room temperature. Bake at 350 about 30 minutes. Ice with powdered sugar frosting while warm.
