6 T. sugar 5 T. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 2 cups milk 3 egg yolks beaten 1 cup coconut 2 tsp. vanilla 9" pie shell
Combine sugar, flour and salt in a sauce pan. Add milk and egg yolks. Mix thouroughly. Cook for 10 minutes stirring constantly. Add coconut and vanilla. Cool and pour into pie shell. Top with meringue. Brown in oven.
