2 Cups Flour Sifted
4 Level Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
2 Tb Shortening
1 egg - beaten
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Add egg and milk, mix and let stand for ten minutes. Drop by spoon into a gently simmering stew or soup.

Cover and cook for 15 minutes. DO NOT PEEK!!!!
