Fudge Crackles Recipe

cup shortening
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
cup sugar
2 eggs
⅔ cup condensed milk
1tsp vanilla
1 cups flour
tsp baking powder
tsp salt
1 cups milk chocolate chips
cups icing sugar

In a glass bowl melt shortening and semi-sweet chocolate chips on medium in microwave.
Add sugar and then eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
Let cool for 5 minutes.
Mix in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.
Add next 4 ingredients.
Mix well to combine.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 - 8 hours.

Preheat oven to 375 F.

Sift icing sugar in shallow bowl.
Use hands to roll chilled dough to form 1 in. balls.
Drop balls into icing sugar and coat.
Place on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper and flatten very slightly.
Bake for 11-13 minutes or until just beginning to feel firm when touched.
