3 quarts popcorn (keep warm)
cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar/packed
cup white corn syrup
teaspoon salt
to 1 teaspoon vanilla
teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter or margarine, brown sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour mixture over popcorn and thoroughly cat each piece. Spread in large cookie sheet and place in 200 oven for 1 hour. Turn or stir about after 30 minutes. Store in airtight container.

(I usually use a large aluminum pan for the oven bake.)
