Ingredients:  
2 C sugar
1/2 c light corn syrup
1/2 C water
2 egg whites
Few grains of salt
1 T vanilla
1/2 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, corn syrup, and water stirring over heat until dissolved.
Let boil, without stirring, to crack state (265 degrees). Pour this syrup in a little at a time
over the stiffly beaten egg whites, stirring constantly.
Take care not to scrape the bottom of the pan.
Add the salt and vanilla, continue beating until candy will hold its shape. Drop quickly from tip of a spoon onto waxed paper or pour into lightly greased pan and cut into squares when cold.
