1 cup butter (melt in pan)
½ cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
3 eggs (mix in one at a time)
2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
This can be mixed together in one large bowl. Tip: mix the cocoa with half of the sugar so it will blend in better. Cover and leave overnight in the refrigerator. Bake at 350º for approximately 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!

This recipe is from the kitchen of our grandma, Katie Gockel. Growing up, these were a treasured favorite! Coming from a large family, they never lasted long and we were always fighting over them – with the fiercest competitor of all…our dad, Paul Gockel.
