1 cups of raisins
2 cups of water
Boil the water and raisins for 20 minutes. Cool.

1/2 cup margarine or shortening
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup cooled raisin water
1 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix margarine, brown sugar and egg together until light and smooth.
Add the cooled raisin water and flour along with the spices alternately while mixing.
Add the raisins last so they won't be smashed too much.
Bake in 350 F oven for 15 to 18 minutes after spooning into prepared muffin tins.
