5 lbs potatoes red or yellow
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup butter
salt & pepper to taste
milk or cream to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. Peel potatoes and cut into chunks.

2. Place potatoes, broth, garlic powder and onion powder into a 4QT slow cooker.

3. Cook on high 3-4 hours or low 6-7 hours, stirring every hour or so or until tender.

4. Using a hand masher, mash potatoes until smooth. Stir in butter and milk. Season with salt & pepper to taste.

5. Serve or keep on warm until serving.
