8 to 10 chicken breasts
1 stick butter
1 to 2 onions, chopped
1 clove garlic
pinch thyme
1 bay leaf
pinch oregano
5 to 6 sprigs parsley
salt and pepper to taste
1 wine glass brandy
1 cup red wine

Directions:
Directions:
Salt and flour chicken, brown in butter. While cooking add onions, chopped garlic, thyme, bay leaf, oregano, parsley and pepper. Simmer until almost done. Place in casserole and pour brandy over it and light if desired. Pour wine over chicken. Cook until tender, about 1 hour in 350 degree oven, uncovered. Baste often.
