28 caramels
2 Tbsp water
4 c peeled apple slices
9 unbaked pie shell
3/4 c flour
1/3 c sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 c butter
1=2 c chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.
Let caramels with water in covered double boiler overflow heat. Stir occasionally until sauce is smooth. Layer 4 c apple slices and caramel sauce in unbaked pie shell.In a small bowl, combine flour, sugar and cinnamon; cut in butter until mixture resembles course crumbs. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle over apples. Bake 40-45 minutes or until apples are tender.
