10 oz egg whites- about 9 eggs
5 oz sugar
8 oz grated almonds
10 oz sugar
1/2 oz flour
1 qt whipping cream
1 lb German chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300.
Whip egg whites with 5 oz sugar until a solid mass. Fold in almonds and 10 oz sugar nd flour(gently). This will make 3 layers of cake.
Spread on floured brown paper, 1/2 thick and 10 in diameter. Bake for 1 1/2 hour.
Remove cake from paper and let cool. Whip the cream and grate the chocolate. Use the cream for filling and topping and sprinkle chocolate between layers and on top.
