3 pounds pork spareribs
water
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Place ribs in 6-quart Dutch oven. Add enough water to cover ribs. Cook over high heat until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 45 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside. Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, ginger and pepper in 2-quart saucepan. Stir in lemon juice, soy sauce and 1/4 cup water. Cook until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Grill ribs, turning and basting with glaze often. Cook 20 minutes or until glazed and nicely browned. Makes 4 servings.
