Aunt Betty's Seafood Casserole Recipe

1 cup diced celery, small
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 chopped green pepper
1/4 cup butter
3 Tablespoons flour
1 to 1 1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup cooked rice
1 can shrimp
1 can crab meat, picked through
1 can sliced mushrooms

Saute celery, onion and green pepper in butter for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
In a saucepan, cook flour and milk to make a cream sauce. Then stir in mayonnaise, salt, Worcestershire, pepper to milk mixture. Add rice. Fold in shrimp, crab and mushrooms. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

If using fresh seafood, use 1/2 to 3/4 pound each. Fresh seafood is best.
