Banana Bread Recipe

1 c sugar
1/2 c Crisco
1 egg
3 ripe bananas
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1/2 c nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, Crisco and egg. Beat with mixer. Add bananas, mashed. Mix and add flour, salt, soda and nuts.
Grease and flour loaf pan. Pour batter into pan.
Bake at 350 for one hour. If using a glass pan turn down to 325 after 15 min. Test center to make sure it is done.
