1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups onions, chopped
2 cups celery, chopped
¼ cup parsley sprigs
2 - 4oz. cans sliced mushrooms, drained
12 -13 cups slightly dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
1½ tsps. sage
1 tsp. dried thyme
½ tsp. marjoram
2½ cups chicken broth
2 eggs, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet and saute onion, celery, parsley and mushrooms. Pour over bread crumbs in a very large mixing bowl. Add all seasonings and mix well. Pour in enough broth to moisten, add beaten egg and mix well. Pack lightly into crock pot. Cover and cook on high 45 minutes, then reduce to low 4 - 8 hours.
