Ingredients:
1 elephant (medium size)
2 rabbits (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut elephant into bite-sized pieces. This should take 2 months. Add enough brown gravy to cover and cook over kerosene fire for about 4 weeks at 450. This will serve 3,800 people. If more are expected, 2 rabbits may be added, but do this only if necessary, as most people do not like hare in their stew.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I was extremely close to my grandmother. Years before she passed away, she gave me a hand written keepsake recipe collection. Amidst the pages was this recipe for feeding a crowd. I cherish this recipe not because I've ever needed to feed so many people, but because it is such a great reminder of her sense of humor.
