2 quarts water
1 c. raisins
1 c. dried prunes
c. dried peaches
c. dried apricots
c. sugar
6 tbsp. flour
tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon (opt)

Directions:
Directions:
Wash fruit, add warm water. Cook until almost tender. Prepare paste with flour, sugar and salt then a little water. Now slowly add flour paste to soup, stirring constantly. Cook until slightly thickened. Serve warm or cold. Sweet cream may be added for extra flavor. When we were kids, we sometimes combined this with fried potatoes...yes, right into the soup...mmmm!
