5 apples
1 tsp. cinnamon
tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
c. flour
c. butter


Directions:
Directions:
Slice apples into 1 quart buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with the slices and lemon juice. Work together sugar, flour and butter until crumbly. Spread over the apples. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes in a moderate oven at 375 degrees or until apples are tender. If mixture becomes dry while cooking, add a small amount of water. Serve cold with whipping cream or hot with plain cream. Serves 6-8.
