1 deep dish pie crust- Marie Calendar or Pillsbury pie crust
⅔ cup sugar
cup corn starch
2 cups 2%. milk
1 cup half and half
4 large egg yolks
2 Tbsp butter
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Take the pie crust and prick with a fork. Add dried beans or pie weights. Top with foil Bake 10 minutes.
Mix sugar, corn starch and salt in pan. Add milk. Stir until boils. Take off the stove. Take 1/4 cup hot milk mixture and stir in 4 egg yolks. Put the milk and egg yolk mixture back into the pan you took off the stove. Cook for 1 minute on medium heat. Take off the stove. Add vanilla, butter 3/4 cup coconut.

Let cool and pour into pie shell. Refrigerate. Put whipping cream on top of pie.
