2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup light butter
2/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup buttermilk
2/3 cup miniature chocolate chips
skim milk
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1-2 Tbsp 1% milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400.
Combine flour, baking soda, and baking powder; stir well with a whisk. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in applesauce and buttermilk to form soft dough. Fold in chips. Roll out and cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter, making 12 biscuits.
Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. Place biscuits on sheet. Brush tops with milk.
Bake for 16 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool slightly, then top with glaze, if desired.
