2 c. sugar
5 Tbsp. water
Pinch cream of tartar
5 Tbsp. molasses
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. popcorn


Directions:
Directions:
Cook the sugar, water, cream of tartar and molasses to 250 degrees (hard ball stage). Remove from heat and when the bubbling stops, add the butter and extract. Add popcorn. Stir gently until the corn is well coated with syrup. Pour into buttered pans and when cool enough to handle, roll into balls.
