Glaze-
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 cinnamon stick
1 orange rind
2 jiggers of white rum

Cake-
½ c. milk
2 T. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
½ tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
8 oz. cream cheese
2 T. sugar
¼ c. or less milk

Directions:
Glaze- When cooled glaze with 1 c. water, 1 c. sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 orange rind, 2 jiggers of white rum, Simmer 5 minutes and cool. Set aside.

Scald ½ c. milk & add 2 T. butter.
Beat 2 eggs until light, add 1 c. sugar, ½ tsp. vanilla and beat until light and fluffy.
Sift 1 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, ½ tsp. salt. Fold into egg mixture. Fold in milk. Bake in greased and floured flan pan at 350º for 25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes then turn out.

Filling- Fill with 8 oz. cream cheese & 2 T. sugar. ¼ c. or less milk. Beat until creamy.

Topping- Arrange fresh strawberry's on top of cake and top with ½ pkg. Junkit Danish Desert, 1 c. water, ⅓ c. sugar, cook over low heat, boil 2 - 3 minutes, cool & pour over strawberries.
