⅓ c. butter
¾ c. sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
4 level tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 c. blueberries, frozen or fresh

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add fruit and egg, then milk. Sift flour, baking powder and salt and add to wet ingredients. Bake 400º for about 15 - 20 minutes.

Best muffin recipe I have ever had. It comes from a Pennsylvania Dutch booklet that I picked up on a trip in 1977.
