Crumb base
1¼ c. flour
½ tsp. double acting baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 c. chopped toasted pecans
1⁄3 c. sugar
1 stick cold butter, diced

Filling
3 eggs
1¼ c. packed dark brown sugarc.
¼ c. butter melted, then cooled
3 T. bourbon
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F. For crumb base: blend all ingredients until it resembles meal. Press dough into a well greased 8” x 8” baking dish. Bake 15 minutes until golden brown. For filling: Beat all ingredients until well combined. Pour mixture into prepared crumb base. Bake 25 minutes until puffed and golden. Cool completely, then cut into 1” x 2” bars.
