Package of 12 slider buns or Kings Hawaiian Rolls, halved
5 tbsp butter, divided (2,2,1)
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 sprigs fresh thyme
¼ tsp dried thyme
Salt
Pepper
1 lb. thinly sliced deli roast beef
12 slices provolone cheese
¼ tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp minced garlic
Dried parsley
1½ cups low sodium beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. In large skillet melt 2 tbsp butter; add onion, thyme sprigs, salt and pepper (to taste). Cook until
caramelized, about 15 minutes. Remove thyme sprigs.
3. Place bottom half of slider buns on large baking sheet. Top with roast beef, onions, cheese and slider
bun tops.
4. Melt 2 tbsp butter and brush on top of buns. sprinkle with garlic powder, coarse salt and parsley.
Bake until cheese is melted and sliders are warmed through, 10 to 15 minutes.
AU JUS:
1. Melt 1 tbsp butter in same skillet as before. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add beef broth,
Worcestershire sauce and thyme. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer until slightly reduced, 10
minutes.
2. Serve sliders with au jus for dipping.
**You can substitute a can of Campbell's condensed beef consommé instead of beef broth. No need to
simmer to reduce as it is already concentrated.
