2 packages yeast
2 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
¼ c. shortening
¼ c. sugar
2 sticks margarine
1 tsp. salt
6 c. flour
1 tsp. sugar
ground cinnamon
brown sugar

Cinnamon Roll Icing:
2 oz. cream cheese; softened
7 Tbsp. butter; softened
½ tsp. vanilla extract
2 Tbsp. milk
1½ c. powdered sugar; sifted
½ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix two yeast packages in a half glass of lukewarm water and 1 tsp. sugar; set aside to let work. In a large bowl, warm milk and shortening in microwave, for approximately 1½ minutes. Add eggs, sugar, and yeast and mix. Add salt. Stir in 3 c. flour. Add remaining flour and stir. Set aside and allow to rise; doubling in size. On floured table, put half dough on surface and roll to ¼" thick. Sprinkle on cinnamon and brown sugar. Cut up one stick margarine and add spotted around dough. Roll up and cut. Place in greased cake pan; let rise. Bake 350º for 20 minutes. Repeat with second half of dough. Cut around outside of pan and turn onto aluminum foil.

Cinnamon Roll Icing
Beat together the cream cheese and butter in a large bowl until creamy. Mix in the vanilla and milk, then gradually mix in the powdered sugar and salt until smooth and fluffy. Note: If your cream cheese and butter are cold, it will not cream well. Microwave each separately for about 10 seconds and they will be soft enough to work with.
