2 lbs pin head oats
1 gal. water (use water meat is cook in)
1 ½ lb. Beef
1 ½ lb. Pork
2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 ½ Tbs. poultry seasoning
2 Tbs salt
1 Tbs pepper
Bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook several bones (ones with lots of marrow) for several hours, until marrow is dissolved into the water.
2. Remove bones, Strain the water and reuse that water to cook the meat and oats.
3. Bring the water to boil, add oats, salt and pepper, bay leaf, cook 1 to 2 hours on low.
4. Add seasoning, meat and soup mix, cook one hour more. Stir often.
5. Put into loaf pans and chill or freeze.

**May use ground pork and beef, but I like to use whole meat parts and grind them in a food processor or meat grinder. If using whole meat parts, make sure to remove the meat from the bones and strain the water..
