Green cucumbers, peel and slice. Enough to measure 1 qt after slicing
1 large onion, sliced
1 large sweet pepper, sliced
1/2 c salt
1 pt vinegar
1/2 tsp mustard seed
1 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp turmeric

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cucumber, onion, sweet pepper, and salt.
Let stand 3 hrs and then drain.
Combine vinegar, mustard seed, brown sugar and bring to boil.
Add to the vegetables and let boil again.
Add turmeric.
Seal hot in jars.
