1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup chopped nuts
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons soda
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-20 ounces can crushed pineapple (unsweetened)

Icing
1 stick butter (room (temperature)
8 ounce cream cheese (room temperature)
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven 350 degrees
Butter and flour a 9 x 13 baking dish.or pan.put all 8 ingredients in a large bowl and mix with a spoon until well blended..pour into prepared pan and bake 35-40 minutes.

For icing,blend ingredients and spread on hot cake.
Let cool and then put in refrigerator,serve cold.
