1 (32 ounce) bag ore-ida shredded hash brown potatoes
1 (16 ounce) bag finely shredded cheddar cheese
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 (10 1/2 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
salt ( to taste)
pepper ( to taste)

I thaw the hash browns prior to mixing, everything seems to combine better instead of having a clump of frozen mess.

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. In a large bowl, stir together butter, soup, sour cream salt and pepper and cheese.
3. Stir in potatoes.
4. Place mixture into a 9x13 baking pan.
6. Bake for around 60 minutes or until hot all the way through and a little brown around the edges.


This recipe also works in a crock pot.
