1 Large Whole Chicken boiled in water
15 oz Package Egg Noodles
1 Can Cream Of Mushroom Soup
18 oz Sour Cream
1 Stick Butter, melted
5 or 6 slices bread or 1 sleeve of ritz crackers
Directions:
Directions:
Cook noodles according to package directions in broth from cooked chicken , meanwhile cut cooked chicken into small pieces, mix the chicken ,noodles, soup and sour cream in large bowl , salt and pepper to taste. Pour the mixture into greased casserole dish. Make breadcrumbs out of bread or ritz crackers and sprinkle on top of casserole then pour melted butter over crumbs. Bake uncovered in preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes or until starting to brown on top.

This is one of many of Aunt Birdies old handwritten recipes I found in old cookie jars. She wrote them out on any paper she could find so was a little hard to rewrite but really enjoyed going thru her recipes and remembering her.
