2 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour

1/2 Cup Non-fat Dry Milk

1/2 tsp. Salt

1 Tbls. Brown Sugar

1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder

6 Tbls. vegetable shortening OR meat drippings

1 Egg, beaten

1/2 Cup Cold Water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Combine flour, dry milk, slat, sugar and garlic powder.

Cut in shortening until it resembles corn meal.

Mix in egg and add enough water until mixture forms a ball.

Make small balls and flatten for bit size biscuits or press dough 1/2 inch thick and use a cookie cutter.

Bake 25-30 minutes or until done.
