Personal Notes:
The summer before Carrie married Dave Booth we took everyone except Tommy (who was on his 3rd day of his first job) to visit my hometown of Milwaukee with a side trip to my boyhood summer vacation spot on Round Lake, Upper Michigan.

Our first stop was Miller Park, home of the Brewers, to catch a game against the Cubs. My Aunt Jackie had tickets. She, my Uncle Bob and some of my cousins were waiting for us to tailgate. As we drove into the parking lot we were greeted by a parking attendant holding a directional wand in one hand, a Miller Lite in the other. Porta-Potties ringed the stadium. Smoke rose from hundreds of hibachis grilling brats. I was back home.
