1 c.brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. oleo (room temperature)
2 eggs
3 ½ c. flour (scant)
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 Tbsp water and 1 tsp soda dissolved in the water
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream brown sugar, white sugar and oleo, Mix in eggs, flour, walnuts, soda dissolved in water, cream of tartar, vanilla, and salt. Roll into 2 long logs ( put dough in refrigerator a short time and dough will roll into logs much easier). Place the logs in refrigerator overnight. Slice thin and bake 350º oven 8-10 min.
