4 c flour
2 t baking soda
1½ t ginger
½ t cinnamon
⅛ t salt
1½ c molasses
½ c shortening, melted
¼ c butter, melted
⅓ c boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and dry ingredients, set aside. In large bowl, combine liquid ingredients. Stir in flour mixture to combine. Cover and refrigerate for several hours to firm. Use a flour and powdered sugar mixture to roll out thin and cut out shapes. Dough will be fragile. Place on parchment paper lined sheets. Bake at 375º for 12 minutes. Cool. Frost and decorate.
