Ingredients:  
1 c butter
½ c powdered sugar
¼ t salt
1 t vanilla
2 c flour

Powdered sugar for rolling

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add sugar gradually. Blend in salt and vanilla. Mix in flour. Mixture will be stiff. Pinch off small pieces and roll into balls. Bake at 400º for 12 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm

Swedish tea cakes
Add the following to the above recipe:
1 c ground nuts. 1 t vanilla
