2 TBL of butter
1/2 C. (or so) Angel Hair Egg Noodles
1 Cup of Rice
2 C Water
1/2 cube of chicken bouillon
1 tsp salt


Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt Butter in a medium size pot on Med-High Heat.
2. Add egg noodles and stir until golden brown.
3. Add Rice and stir until rice isn't clear and has turned a pearl white color.
4. Add water
5. Mix in bouillion and salt
6. Cover and keep on med-high heat until boiling.
7. Once boiling, don't take off the lid. Turn the heat to low and set timer for 15 minutes.
8. Mix rice to make sure it's cooked. If it doesn't seem cooked, keep on low for a few more minutes until cooked.

This was the first Egyptian food Katie cooked by herself that Andy taught her. It's a staple and is eaten with almost every meal in Egypt.
