1 lb. ground beef
2/3 cup fine bread crumbs
2 T. minced onion
2T. chopped parsley
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup water
2 T. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, parsley, egg and salt stir until smooth.
Blend in water.
Put 1/4 cup of soup mixture into the meat, mix well.
Shape into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
Brown meatballs in shortening in a skillet.
Pour in remaining mushroom sauce.
Cook slowly on top of range about 30 minutes.
