1 1/2 cup flour
3 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups Kellogg's 40% Bran Flakes
1 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 cup shortening,soft

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Set aside.
Measure bran flakes and milk into mixing bowl; stir to combine.
Let stand 1-2 minutes or until most of moisture is absorbed.
Add egg and shortening, beat well.
Add sifted dry ingredients to bran flakes mixture, stirring only until combined.
Fill greased muffin pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes
