1 cup shortening (Crisco?)
1, 3oz. cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla


Cream above ingredients together

3 cups flour
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking powder

Jam of your choice

Directions:
Directions:
Cream first 5 ingredients together, then add the dry ingredients to it.

Chill for 30 minutes

Roll into 3 rolls in wax paper

Chill again for 3-4 hours

Slice 1/8 inch and place onto ungreased cookie sheet

Imprint with thumb

Place jam in the center (Marc likes Apricot)

Bake 350 12-15 mins
