2 1/4 cups sugar
2 tbsp corn starch, heaped
2 eggs
8 2/3 cup milk
2 cups half and half
1-2 Tbsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, corn starch and eggs. Mix well. Add 2 cups milk, mixing well. Add 4 cups milk. Put in sauce pan and cook over medium heat until it comes to almost to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add remaining milk (4 2/3 cup milk) Put in gallon jug and chill well.

Just before freezing-add vanilla.
