Viennese Brownies Recipe

1 - 8 oz. Cream Cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. almond extract

2 - o oz. squares unsweetened chocolate,melted
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. flour

Blend 1st 3 ingredients then add almond and set aside.

Melt chocolate and butter together and cool. Beat eggs. Add sugar and chocolate mixture. Add baking powder and salt. Stir in flour and mix well. Pour 1/2 into greased 8" square pan. Spread on cream cheese mixture then top with remaining chocolate batter.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Cool and frost.
