9" pie crust

1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup chopped pecan

Directions:
In heavy sauce pan add 3 tads of butter melted (I melt my butter in the microwave first. Butter does not need to be too hot when added to the eggs or it will cook your eggs) and 4 eggs. Beat until mixed well. Add sugar, flour and salt and continue to stir. Add Karo syrup, vanilla continue to stir. Add chopped pecans (I like mine very small). Pour into 9" uncooked pie shell. cook for 10 min on 375 then reduce heat to 325 and cook until it doesn't shake in the middle.
