Directions:Combine all the ingredients except the bread and chill for a couple hours.
To make the bread “bowl” hollow out the center of the loaf. Slice the bread that was removed from center into cubes and set aside.
Fill the bowl with spinach dip, and serve with fresh vegetables, bread cubes or crackers.
Tips: Make sure the frozen spinach is chopped and squeeze as much water out as you can. If you use fresh you will need to chop it and wilt it in boiling water. There are many variations of this delicious dip. You can use leek soup mix instead of vegetable or try replacing the sour cream with cream cheese! Karen suggests using miracle whip instead of mayonnaise if you like "tang". Sometimes she adds the water chestnuts for crunch. |
