Ingredients:
Ingredients:
10 Large Apples - peeled, cored sliced in 8 pieces
1/2 c. Water
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon - can add more if desired (1 tsp)
3/4 c. Sugar
1/2 T Lemon Juice

Directions:
Directions:
This is the crockpot recipe I gave mom. You can make it in the Instant pot even quicker. I use more cinnamon when cooking in instant pot. Set Instant pot for 8 minutes on manual and after done let sit for 3 minutes before you release the remaining pressure. Mash to your consistency. You can freeze or keep in fridge.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mom would always make fresh applesauce with the apples on the tree in the yard. She now enjoys using this recipe in the crockpot instead of watching it on the stove.
