1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp cornstarch
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 Tbsp butter
2 cans (15 oz each) sliced beets, drained
1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice and butter. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes or until thick. Stir in beats and heat. Stir in mandarin oranges and heat.

Could substitute oranges or pineapple for mandarin oranges.
