1 lb stew meat, cubed
1/2 cup flour
salt and pepper

1 lb sliced carrots
2 onions, chopped
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup red wine
1 bay leaf
fresh chopped thyme
1 lb sliced mushrooms

Rice or noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Combine beef, flour, salt and pepper in a plastic bag and shake well to cover the meat.

Put the meat and the rest of the ingredients into a crock pot.

Cook 8 hours or until the meat falls apart.

Serve over rice or noodles.

Yummy! I've made this recipe and canned it using my pressure canner. Keeps for years and so nice to just pop open a jar for dinner!
